Believing For More Of What God Has For You

There is more God has for you, no matter your age.

Your belief is between where you are and more of what God has for you.

The Children Of Israel Beliefs

The children of Israel who didn’t believe God started a campaign of complaining by discussing how they could come up with a better way to end their suffering in the wilderness.  God was displeased.  Numbers 14:11 (NIV) says, “The Lord said to Moses, ‘How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them?”

The children of Israel’s hearts were detached from God, delivering them from slavery.  Their minds were agitated by their experience in the wilderness. They were restless and separate from God.

Age brings life experiences.

Life experiences may cause you to focus on limitations, which detach your mind from God and His plans for you.

It causes the mind to be restless.

Believing God For More

 Do you believe God has more for you?

Cleaving or clinging  to the Lord strengthens your belief in God.

Joshua 23:8 (KJV) states, “But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.”

One meaning of cleave and cling is to unite or be united closely in interest or affection; to adhere with strong attachment.

One purpose of your mind is to use it with affection.

You cleave or cling to the Lord by setting your affection on God with your mind.

Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) states, “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Believing in God with your affection on Him strengthens your belief in Him and what He has for you.

May your belief for more be strengthened by cleaving to the Lord.
