"What's your plan?,” my content coach asked while working on a workshop. I didn't have a plan for the workshop. I went home and sought the Lord.

The Lord gave me a complete outline and curriculum for Desires of the Heart workshop. The workshop turned into writing Desires of the Heart book.

What area in your life do you need a plan?

Your heart, the core of who you are, is where you get plans for your life.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

You are a spirit. Your heart receives what comes from your spirit when your heart is established in God’s grace. Your heart is not your physical heart. Your heart is your mind. It’s your consciousness and conscience.

Your heart is like a chair that provides a seat for the following:

1. The seat of your passion and affection: Your love, joy, excitement, etc.

2. The seat of your will: Your intention and determination by action

3. The seat of your understanding: Includes six intellectual faculties:

·         Perception

·         Imagination

·         Intuition

·         Memory

·         Reason

·         Will

Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. Your heart interconnects with your soul.

Your heart works best when your soul is resting in the Lord.

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) states the following:

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

The Lord reveals His plans for you by searching Him with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV) says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

May more of God’s plan flow from your heart.

Be well,

Tulani
