Standing Firm In God's Love

A home remains on its foundation after flash flooding in Nepal.

I watched the video of the water flooding the area and beating against the home.

You can see the house still standing after the flood.

Like the house on a firm foundation, your spirit is a foundation that stands firm in your love for God.

Ephesians 3:17 (NLT) states, “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”

A foundation for spiritual growth is to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul.

The Lord rescues you from anything that tries to break down your spirit, the foundation of who you are.

Psalm 91:14 (NLT) states, “The LORD says, ‘I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.”

Loving the Lord brings rescue and spiritual growth through a spiritual foundation that keeps you standing in God’s love.
