Think of taking a path in nature to reach your desired destination. Your destination could be a beach, a cabin, a lake for fishing, or a resort for a retreat.

Your heart, which is your inner being, has paths to experience everything God has for you.

Love is one path to excel in who you are.

One meaning of excel is to go beyond in bad qualities and exceed in good qualities.

Love comes with a mindset that focuses on “being,” not “doing.”

A person of “being” focuses on living from their spirit, the foundation of who they are.

Self-love connects to the truth of who you were created to be.

Self-love does not accept self-judgment, guilt, shame, nor low self-esteem.

Instead, self-love chooses to live in the highest awareness of truth.

Self-love expands through meditation. Your continued thought to love yourself elevates your mind to experience success.

Joshua 1:8 (NLT) states, “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”

Meditating on God's love puts you on the path to prosper in who God made you to become and His plans for you.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 defines God’s love.

The following are the meanings of God’s love from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8:

  • 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

  • 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

  • 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

  • 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  • 8 Love never fails.

Meditating on self-love is your gateway to being the best version of yourself.

Be well,

Tulani
