Think of a time when you asked a person, “Why did you do that?”

Their answer was guided by their reason.

Reason is part of the intellectual faculty of the heart, which is your thinking headquarters.

It is a faculty of your mind that draws conclusions about God, yourself, people, circumstances, truth, facts, good, evil, etc.

One benefit of using your reasoning is to unite with the Lord to align your thoughts with God’s thoughts. It is one way the Lord reveals His plans for you.

God said in Isaiah 1:18 (KJV), “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord..."

The Lord's reasoning will come to you through instructions.

God instructed me to partner with a church to coordinate a mentoring group at a public high school. My reason for organizing the mentoring group was based on my faith in God.

What has the Lord put in your heart to do?

Reasoning with God is based on your faith. It takes you beyond logic and limitations.

Faith to reason with the Lord comes by your desire to reason with God.

Job 13:3 (KJV) states, “Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.”

Be well,

Tulani
