We were born to experience a life of thriving. The definition of thrive is to prosper; be fortunate or successful. What causes a person to thrive daily? A lifestyle of purpose. A life purpose that includes serving others causes us to prosper in our soul which is our mind, will, and emotions. Wealth and material possessions are the byproduct of us thriving when it comes to your purpose. Thriving with your purpose in your mind, will, and emotions connects you to a life of fulfillment.

What does thriving mean to you? There are many areas in your life that are of meaning and value. I think of areas in my personal life that I am grateful to thrive in. If you write a list identifying areas that you are fortunate to experience, you will see how you are thriving. There are many things you are grateful for, but you may notice an area you would like to thrive in. The area I was not thriving in was purpose. I was slowly regressing by not living with purpose. I discovered I needed a vision to thrive with purpose. Are you thriving with your purpose? You must put yourself in position to thrive in your purpose.

The root to thriving is having a vision that includes your purpose. Your vision will aide you in growing and flourishing to live your purpose. Without a vision, a person cannot see opportunities or thrive. A vision of the present keeps you in frustration to only react to circumstances. You stay in the mode of trying to fix your life through worry, doubt, and fear. It creates a mentality of always focusing and responding to life problems. A vision of the past is the past. It sucks life out of you and put you in the position of regressing and giving up on life. A vision of your future centered with living your purpose propels you forward to live the life you were created to experience. That is to thrive.

The following are 5 reasons to create a vision that includes Living Your Purpose:

  1. You will identify your priorities. A vision will filter your priorities. It will help you identify what matters most. You will make preparations for opportunities that will bring results.

  2. You will move toward clarity. Your vision provides a birds eye of your future. As you set goals and plans, you will gain clarity that will include more details about your vision.

  3. You will be motivated to live your vision. You will move past living based on life circumstances. You will live based on your commitment to your vision.

  4. You will connect with people that supports your vision. You will meet the right people that will help you move toward your vision.

  5. You will experience happiness. A vision that include your purpose serving others creates happiness. Pure happiness comes from serving others with our talent, skills, and abilities.
