5 Ways to Move Beyond Negative Emotions

Dominant negative emotions are barriers that keep you from experiencing the life you desire. Why? Negative is having the power of stopping or restraining. Dominant negative emotions stop you from living your authentic nature of who you are, how you were created, and why you were we created.
I was angry most of my life. My anger was my response to life circumstances. I felt justified with my angry responses that didn’t create winning results. This skewed my perception about myself and my life. This caused me to see only my weaknesses and past hurts as my way to living. My perception changed when my desire to live my purpose and experience more of my authentic nature became dominant over anger.
Negative emotions are indicators to seek a solution. Negative emotions are strengthened and become dominant when we don’t deal with them properly. This creates walls around us that change our perception of ourselves, people, life, and circumstances. This produces toxic results in our lives.
In order to live your life purpose, you must strategically make your desire to live it a dominate factor over negative emotions.
The following are 5 ways to move beyond negative emotions:
Create space to live your life purpose. Space includes time to identify what you truly want out of life. Waiting for the right opportunity to change or to see changes in your life causes a person to remain stuck. Therefore, identify what you desire for your life. Transformation starts when we make time for ourselves.
Identify what is bothering you. This is not a blame game nor the call to immediately fix yourself. This is an examination of why are you frustrated, numb, feel stuck, etc. Facing your reality gives you the power to move forward in your truth of who you are. Don’t seek to change things immediately. This is simply writing a list. Then praying about whatever is concerning you.
Commit to self-care. This is commitment to yourself to be the best version of you. This include taking delight in how you were created. Identifying your strengths, creativity, talent, and passion is taking pleasure in how you were created. Self-care involves personal growth. We move forward in life by growing. This involves applying life principles in our daily living.
Change your perception. Change your perception about why you were created. Think of all your good qualities you possess to serve people who will benefit from your story and talent. Living our life purpose is about serving. Serving others creates happiness and significance to your purpose in life.
Maintain a positive attitude. A positive attitude moves us past all negativity. In everything you do, your positive attitude will help you overcome factors that tempt you to move toward negative emotions. Commit to what works for you in keeping a positive attitude.
A negative bottom line is zero. A positive bottom line is more than zero. What you make dominant in your life determines your bottom line. How will you make living your purpose a dominant factor in your life?
