Patience is your power to live in your authentic nature. Your authentic nature includes being the best version of yourself. This starts with knowing how and why God created you. Patience is needed when you live from your spiritual foundation. Your spiritual foundation allows you to grow through self-awareness.

Self-awareness is the avenue to apply life principles in your life to grow in your authentic nature. You don’t see results immediately when you live from your spiritual foundation. Your patience allows you to stay in the process of improving yourself when your life is not going in the direction aligned with you experiencing your authentic nature.

Your patience increases as you develop a lifestyle of purpose through the knowledge of God thoughts and ways. This includes gaining the knowledge of your authentic image, talent, skills, abilities, and leadership.

I set a December 23, 2017, deadline to complete a project. I was being critical of myself when I didn’t meet the deadline. I was using my creativity from my spiritual foundation but was not satisfied with the content. I was fighting the temptation to hurry and get it done. This lead to the thoughts of wanting to quit.

I stop working on the project for two weeks. When I resumed working on the project, I had a new perspective on the content. I gained more creativity in developing the material. My patience allowed me to stay committed to the project. What area of your life do you need patience?
