How will you get there? This is examining how you will lead yourself into your future. God created you to advance while living his will for your life. Life advancement comes with being intentional to maximize your potential. You were born with unlimited potential which is connected to your authentic nature. You are wired to consistently evolve from your spirit.

When I began creating Living Your Purpose audio and workbook, I thought the foundation would be about goal achievement. I was wrong. Through self-awareness, I went on a journey to discover how I would finish the product. I knew my starting point and my desired result, but I didn’t know how I was going to finish. I just started. My awareness of how I would finish the product involved me being a student of life. This process included me harvesting my potential through the discipline of developing new habits to produce my authentic nature.

While creating the product, I discovered God cared more about me “being” who created me to be, than doing what instructed me to do. Why? Genesis 1:26 confirms God created you and I in his image and likeness. As a believer in Jesus, our image and likeness must reflect the image of God. You must ask yourself, am I “being” who God created me to be. Jesus is your blueprint to be the person God created you to be. Jesus is the image of God (Colossians 1:15). The question remains, how do you move forward in life being who God created you to be? Life transformation.

Life transformation is renewing your mind to the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and understanding. This is where faith meets personal growth. This is growing in the wisdom of God. Luke 2:52, Says Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man.

When you renew your mind and apply life principles in your daily living, you set out to prove through your life journey the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God for your life (Romans 12:2). This is living your purpose. This comes through personal growth.

Renewing your mind includes developing new habits with discipline that leads to productivity from your authentic nature. The following are 4 ways to harvest being who God created you to be:

  1. Your desire. Desire influence your will to take action. You must desire living God’s will for your life. God looks at your heart to see if your affection is towards him and being who he created you to be.

  2. Invest in yourself. I experienced life transformation by investing in myself to learn life principles that were beyond my level of knowledge to apply in my life.

  3. Make a sacrifice. What are you willing to give up to go up? You will have to identify what sacrifice do you need to make to move forward.

  4. Start. You will not know all the plans to move forward. As you start and move forward more of your plans will be revealed.

Life includes a lifestyle of purpose while advancing to experience the fullness of who God created you to be.

What vision has God given you? What are you willing to sacrifice to live it? When will you start?
