3 Ways To Advance Yourself

God created you to move forward by advancing in His kingdom.

One benefit of advancing in God's kingdom is moving beyond anything that tries to stop you from becoming in God's image.

To advance is to bring forward who God made you to become.

God gave us the ability to conform to His image.

Romans 8:29 (NIV) says, "For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters."

To advance in God's kingdom is to grow spiritually, develop a spiritual mindset, and nurture positive emotions.

What do you believe God placed on your heart to do?

Spiritual growth, developing a spiritual mindset, and nurturing positive emotions are the focal points to achieving it.

1. Spiritual growth is growing by God's grace by having a relationship with Jesus. It includes expanding by the word of God.

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..."

2 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

2. Developing a spiritual mindset is to allow the Holy Spirit to influence your mind.

"The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is

life and peace." Romans 8:6 (NIV)

3. Nurturing positive emotions is training your feelings in God's joy.

"for the joy of the LORD is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)

May you pursue God's will for you through growing, developing, and nurturing who God made you to become!

Lord,

Thank you for putting in my heart what you inspire me to do. I ask for the wisdom to grow spiritually, develop a spiritual mindset, and nurture positive emotions. Guide me as I prepare and pursue your will for me.
