3 Ways To Start Receiving God's Plans

God’s plans are strategies for you to fulfill his will for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Think of your gift, calling, talent, skills, influence, and strengths. Your attributes are God’s will for your life. God has a strategy for you to experience each virtue. You show God’s power with his plans for your life.

I thought I was ready to fulfill God’s will for my life as a life strategist. I was on a hamster will using a mindset that evolved as a result of working as a government employee.

I made decisions and took action from the cultural mountain of government that didn't serve God’s will for my life. I got off the hamster wheel when I realized I didn't know God's plan.

I went to the Mountain of the Lord. Micah 4:1 (NIV) states: In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.”

We are in the last days. God’s plan is for His Mountain to be above all cultural mountains, which are Arts and Entertainment, Media, Government, Family, Education, Business, and Church.

One meaning for the Mountain of the Lord is God’s mind. God’s mindset is his belief that created you and the world. It includes his plans and ways for you. Isaiah 55:8 (NIV) says, “My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.”

God holds in His mind your strategy to fulfill His will for your life. Hebrews 4:6 (NIV) says, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?”

You receive a mindset in the Mountain of the Lord. It includes strategies God has for your life. A mindset is a belief that drives your behavior. The purpose is to have dominion and prove God’s power in the cultural mountains you called to influence.

Which cultural mountain are you called to influence?

God prepares your mind to influence it. He instructs you through the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV) says, Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”

The mind of Christ is a spiritual mindset. God reveals to you ways to accomplish His will through the mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2:9-10 (NIV) says, “ However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

Your strategy to fulfill God’s will comes from the mind of Christ.

Here are 3 truths to start receiving God's plans for you:

1. Desire God’s righteousness: One meaning for desire is to hunger or thirst. God makes you aware of His plans through righteousness. Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, or they will be filled.”

2. Renew your mind: Renew your mind from your spirit. Ephesians 4:23 (KJV) says, “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;…”

3. Increase your understanding of God’s Kingdom: The kingdom of God is in your heart. God reveals the mystery of his plans when you seek to understand his Kingdom. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Your faith remains in God’s power with a strategy to fulfill His will when you go to the Mountain of the Lord.
