A Place Of Protection

God becomes your refuge when you trust him.

Psalm 62:8 (NIV) says, "Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."

A refuge is a place of protection from calamity or distress.

God becomes your refuge when you let go of what concerns you. 

Trust involves letting go of issues that cause your heart pain or distress.

God is your refuge from negativity, doubts, insecurities, self-judgment, guilt, shame, people's opinions, etc.

Trusting God is committing to allow God full access to your heart.

There are some days when you don't feel like trusting God.

Trust God. He is a refuge, a place of protection.
