Discouragement is an indicator of unfulfilled desires in your heart.
In Exodus Chapter 3, God assigned Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.
God sent Moses to tell the Israelites that He would set them free in Exodus Chapter 6.
Exodus 6:9 (NIV) says, “Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh labor.”
The Israelites’ minds were in pain because of slavery.
Life challenges or setbacks cause pain in the mind.
A principle in the Bible advise us not to be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:18 (NLT) states, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
The question is, what do you do when you feel discouraged?
Discouragement is an indicator of unfulfilled desires in your heart.
Only God can fulfill your heart's desires, according to Psalm 145:16.
Psalm 37:4 (KJV) says, “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Delight is a high degree of pleasure or satisfaction of the mind.
The solution for discouragement is a high degree of pleasure for God in your mind every day.
Delighting in God every day opens your mind to receive inspiration and knowledge from the Lord.
Be well,
