God's Plan Is Your Platform

Ellen Watkins Harper said, "Jesus Christ has given us a platform of life and duty from which all oppression and selfishness is necessarily excluded."

I want to highlight one meaning of a platform.

A platform is a plan. God's plans for your life includes a platform to solve problems with influence. God reveals his plans in several ways. He uses new thoughts, inventions, designs, purposes, and ideas.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

You may feel like you are between a rock and a hard place. You may be uncertain about your future. God has a plan for you. It's how He moves you forward.

During a church service, my pastor asked the congregation, "Are you winning your world?"

I was awakening to God calling me to influence culture.

I sat wondering, "Who is my world?"

God's plan for you includes winning your world.

Your world may be one or more of the following cultures:

• Art & Entertainment

• Business

• Church

• Media

• Government

• Family

• Education

My state of wanting to know God's plans put me in a position to discover my world. Matthew 7:7 (NIV) says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

An idea came to my mind to start a mentoring group with high school students. It was a seed to know the solution to a cultural problem.

God needs you to see his plan for you. The Greek meaning for an idea is to see. God may give you an idea, invention, or design. It's His way to plant his plan in your heart.

The platform God has for you is to have dominion over His hands. Psalm 8:6 (AMP) says, "You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet," Your influence is how God expresses the works of His hands.

God's hands are in need everywhere in the world. God made you a solution through his hands.

God reveals your platform when to take time to hear what He is saying to your heart. Jesus said in Luke 8:8 (AMP) says, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.”
