There is more of what the Lord has for you. It is in the power of your will.
One of the greatest powers of free will is to align your will with the Lord’s will.
Luke 22:42 (NIV) states, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
What does it take to grow in God’s will for you?
Being intentional about aligning yourself with the will of the Lord opens your heart to the knowledge of God’s will for you.
The knowledge of the Lord’s will is spiritual.
Wisdom and spiritual understanding give you the knowledge of God’s will for you.
Productivity of good works comes from your heart as you increase in the knowledge of God.
The Lord’s will is a God-given desire. Your desire and intention with prayer cause knowledge of God’s will to increase in your heart.
Colossians1:9-10 are scriptures to pray for the knowledge of the Lord’s will.
The following are Colossians1:9-10 (KJV) to pray:
“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
You may pray the following prayer according to Colossians1:9-10:
Lord,
I desire that you fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. May knowing your will cause me to live a life pleasing to you while I am being productive in good works. I believe and receive with the intention of increasing my knowledge of you. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Be well,
Tulani
