What are you thankful for this week?

I am thankful that God gives us hope for our future.

I was looking at new headlines this morning.

The news headlines about our environment, government, society, etc., don't reflect hope for our future.

How can you be hopeful about your future?

God's plans for you far exceed events in the world.

Isaiah 60:1 (NIV) says, "See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you."

Hope for our future is to experience God's plan for our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

One meaning of hope is confidence in a future event.

God's plans for you are God-given desires.

God's plans for you satisfy your heart.

God reveals His plans to you through your desire to know them.

He guides you to His plans when you seek Him.

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV) says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

His plans for your future are where hope resides.

Have a good weekend!

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
