God made us to declare the truth of who we are in His image.

A declaration is an affirmation to make known a truth.

Job 22:28 (NKJV) says, "You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways."

Affirmations empower you to become who God made you in His image.

I was dealing with anxious thoughts racing in my mind.

I was easily distracted from completing tasks.

My energy was gone from focusing on the wrong things.

God instructed me to meditate on scriptures that affirm who I am in His image.

I made a list of affirmations from the scriptures that confirm who I am in Christ.

I noticed my mind was calm after several days of saying the affirmations.

My focus increased to completing tasks.

I felt productive after handling priorities at the end of my day.

I continue to say the affirmations daily as part of my personal growth journey.

I journaled my results from saying the affirmations.

I created the Affirmations of Who I am in God's Image, Declarations Journal, after experiencing the benefits of speaking my affirmations.

The following are some of the benefits of speaking affirmations in this journal:

  • Your mind is calm

  • You rest in God

  • You identify distractions

  • You get in agreement with God

  • You open your mind to receive God’s plans

  • You focus on God

  • You receive God’s love

  • You show love to yourself

  • You see yourself the way God sees you

  • You train your mind to renew spiritually

  • You receive God’s nature (desires, thoughts, peace, etc.)

  • You increase God’s power to work within you

  • You thrive in your mind, will, and emotions

  • You increase your confidence

  • God’s peace rest in you

  • You acknowledge your freedom in Jesus

  • You build a mental image of who you are in Christ

You see the results of being who God made you to become by speaking the truth of who you are.

Proverbs 12:19 says, "The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment."

Speaking the truth of who you are in God's image establishes who you are in Christ forever.
