How To Get Strength For The Christmas Season

Grace is a gift from God. It's good to know the true meaning of Christmas involves the gift of grace.

Grace involves God's favor and goodwill toward you.

It's easy to see God's grace when life is going well.

It's hard to see God's grace when life brings a loss, setback, or void in the heart.

Art imitates life.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie was about processing grief.

Shuri, the princess of Wakanda, processed anger and abandonment while dealing with the loss of her family members.

The movie intentionally showed the process of grieving while trying to move forward.

The Christmas season may come while processing a loss, setback, or void in the heart.

God's grace is available to give you the strength to get through the Christmas season.

Jesus said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV), “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Grace gives you hope, peace, love, joy, etc. Overall, whatever you need.

Your access to grace is by faith.

Romans 5:1-2 (NIV) says, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God."

Grace is a desire of the heart.

Pray the following prayer if you desire for God's grace to expand in your heart:

God,

I come to your throne of grace to obtain mercy. I believe your grace can help me during this Christmas season. I ask that you give me the grace to help me (say where you need God's grace). I thank you for helping me in my time of need. In Jesus Name. Amen.
