God made the soul (mind, will, & emotions) to remain calm with Him.

It is why Jesus invited us to come to Him to rest our souls.

Matthew 11:28 (NIV) says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Your mind, will, and emotions are calm from resting in God.

You receive God's thoughts on how to think.

You make decisions governed by peace.

God's joy strengthens your emotions.

How do you receive Jesus' invitation to rest your soul?

Your soul finds rest when you recognize when your soul is thirsting for God.

There are moments when our souls are disturbed by circumstances.

The children of Israel's souls were disturbed by slavery and being in the wilderness.

Their minds were agitated by their experience in the wilderness, which caused them to get in a state of unrest, separate from God.

The soul (the mind, will, and emotions) works best when God is the source of life.

Your soul thirst for God.

Psalm 63:1 (NKJV) says, "O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water."

God made the soul for a relationship with Him.

The soul goes into a state of unrest when there is no connection with God.

Racing thoughts, restlessness, agitation, anxiety, doubting, and wandering are indicators that the soul is thirsting for God.

God quenches your soul thirst when you recognize a need for God to be your source of life.

The source of life includes wellness in thoughts, emotions, will, memory, imagination, perception, reasoning, and intuition.

Isaiah 55:1 (MSG) says, “Hey there! All who are thirsty, come to the water!"

Water in this scripture means your source of life.

Recognizing your soul's thirst for God leads to spiritual rest to draw from the source of life.

Love and Blessings,
