Yes, God rejoices over you!

Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV) says, "The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

How do you experience God's pleasure for you?

You experience God's pleasure of you by delighting in God.

God's pleasure for you and your pleasure for God unites your heart with God.

God expresses God-given desires to you when your heart unites with Him.

Psalm 37:4 (NIV) says, "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

One way to delight in God is to desire to know God's plans for your life.

God has plans for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

A delight for God begins in your heart.

Delighting in God is the solution for the following:

· Discouragement

· Dread

· Disappointments

· Life regrets

Taking pleasure in God includes delighting in God's plans in your mind.

When you say every day, "I am delighting in God's plans for me."

You direct your heart and mind toward desiring God's plans for you.

You increase your desire to know God's plans for you.

God-given desires rise above negative emotions.

Anytime negative emotions try to dominate your day.

Focus your heart's desire toward God.
