George Washington Carver overcame life factors that were working against him.

He was born into slavery with an expectancy to live until 21 years.

Mr. Carver was free from slavery. He lived until he was 78 or 79 years old.

He overcame the odds by knowing and pursuing God’s will for His life.

The knowledge of God’s will for you empowers you to overcome life factors that work against you.

What is God's will?

God's will is His right intention of favor and purpose for your life.

God's will for you includes the following:

• His choice

• His pleasure

• His determination

• His command

• His direction

• His desire

• His power

• His favor

• His kindness

• His counsel

You can receive the knowledge of God's will in your heart.

The knowledge of God's will comes from the wisdom and understanding that God gives.

Colossians 1:9 (NIV) says, "We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives."

God desires for you to know His will in abundance.

God's plan is for the knowledge of His will to overflow from your heart.
