Every day, God’s grace is attempting to influence you “to be” more.

This influence is connected to you being who you were created to be.

What Is God’s Grace?

One meaning of God’s Grace is divine influence on the heart.

The Lord is seeking you “to be” more.

What Does It Mean “To Be” More?

Being more is being who God made you to become in God’s image. God’s grace influences your heart while taking action on being who you are in His image.  Being more in God’s image is a desire of the heart.

The Battlefield Of The Mind

I lived in a state of frustration prior to learning the heart’s desire. Now,  I notice when I give attention to distractions more than the opportunity to be more, I get frustrated.

Life issues are distractions that try to drive your attention to what agitates your mind. All while God’s grace is seeking to advance you.  It’s the battlefield of the mind.

The issue is that when you don’t act on the desire to be who you are in God’s image, you become frustrated.

I learned that frustration is a part of life's principle.  It’s a sign that I frustrate God’s grace by not allowing Him to influence my heart because of distractions. The grace of God is frustrated when we ignore the process of God influencing our hearts.  This causes you to go through the circle of life without experiencing the truth of who you are.

Galatians 2:21 (KJV), “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

Satisfying Your Heart

The opposite of frustration is satisfaction. Only the grace of God can satisfy your heart, according to Psalm 145:16.

Whatever your past reflects, hidden in your heart is a desire “to be” more.

God’s grace favors you to be more by attempting to influence you to grow in the image of God.

The Sun, on average, is about 92.96 million miles from the Earth, according to the Britannica Encyclopedia.

The heavens are higher than the Sun and Earth, far beyond time and space.

God describes His thoughts and ways as distant, like the heavens from the Earth.

Isaiah 55:9 (NIV) states, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

One way God’s grace seeks to influence and satisfy your heart is by growing in God’s thoughts and ways.

The truth is, the distractions are smokescreens to stop you from growing in God’s thoughts and ways.

The opposite of frustrations is giving attention to God’s thoughts and ways, which are part of God’s image.

Today, what is God saying to your heart?

Psalm 95:8 (NKJV) states, “Today, if you will hear His voice: 'Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,”

Hearing God’s voice is a way He influences your heart “to be” more by growing in His thoughts and ways, God's Image.

Be well,

Tulani
