When you say, "I am created to know my Creator."
You assert the truth that God made you to know Him.
You open your mind to know why and how God made you.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
The new you comes with being well in your spirit, soul, and body.
I recall the years when I didn't know who I was.
I commuted to work for many years with no productive thinking dreading the day. I was going through the motions of just existing.
I had a relationship with God but didn't know who He made me to become.
The fact was my relationship with God lacked consistency.
I was living a life of existing.
A life of existing is living under conditions that work against you.
I accepted life as-is and allowed circumstances to influence my mind, will, and emotions.
The highs and lows in my life were my reactions to circumstances.
I was suffocating the hidden desire of the heart to know who I am to become.
God fulfilled my desire to know who I am through a consistent relationship with him.
Do you ever feel like you are living a life of existing?
God made you with hidden desires in your heart.
One is to know who God made you to become.
Knowing who God made you to be comes with having a consistent relationship with God.
Your soul thirst for God.
The following are three scriptures that support your soul's thirst for God:
"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God..." Psalm 42:2 (NKJV)
"...My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water." Psalm 63:1 (NKJV)
"...My soul longs for You like a thirsty land..." Psalm 143:6 (NKJV)
God quenches your soul thirst through a consistent relationship with him.
One meaning of thirst is desire.
One benefit of God quenching your soul's thirst is fulfilling your desire to know who he made you to become.
God is the only one that will reveal the truth of who he made you to be.
Jeremiah 24:7 (NIV) says, "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord..."
You learn the mysteries of who you are by developing a consistent relationship with God.
It's one way to know the new you!
Love and Blessings,
