Living the desires of your heart comes with owning the truth.

Proverbs 23:23 (NKJV) says, "Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding."

Ownership comes with accountability. A person that owns a home takes pride in what they own. They willfully take on the responsibility of having dominion over their house.

It is the same as taking ownership of your life. Owning the truth is taking the responsibility to have dominion over your life.

Owning the truth is investing in God's word.

God's word is truth.

Jesus said in John 17:17 (NIV) says, "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth."

Sanctify means to be separate.

God desires you to live separate from people's and cultural expectations of you.

Owning your truth starts with choosing to engage your life the way God made you in His image.

Here are examples of owning your truth:

•Receive God's Instructions

•Single Mind Regarding Decisions

•Focused

•Embrace Change

•Teachable

•Open Mind = Getting Knowledge

•Creative = Work Smarter with Results

•Intentional About Living

•Grateful

•Satisfied

•Persistent in What you do

•Authentic Image = Value Self

Your freedom is connected to you owning your truth.

Jesus paid the price for your freedom.

Galatians 5:1 (NIV) says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

Owning your truth starts with putting into practice Jesus’ teachings.

Jesus said in John 8:31-32 (KJV), “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Disciple means to learn as a follower of Jesus.

You learn to own your truth as a disciple of Jesus.

You have the freedom to be. It is in owning your truth!

Love and Blessings,
