God does not look at you the way people judge you.

He looks at your heart according to Jesus being your high priest by faith.

Hebrews 4:14 (NIV) says, "Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess."

By spiritual law, no person can go to God regarding life matters without a high priest.

God made Jesus the high priest over our lives when Jesus sacrificed his life for our sins.

As the high priest, Jesus validates your identity and removes scars from your self-image.

From my mid-twenties thru early thirties, I took pride in how I dressed.

I believed that nicely dressing was part of displaying who I am.

I changed the way I dressed because of what was said to me.

One day, a person of influence said that single women dress up to get men's attention. I absorbed this belief which scarred my self-image.

When I was single, I stopped dressing up so men wouldn't think I was attempting to get their attention.

Thank God, I bought back the belief that God made me to look my best because He made me wonderfully and fearfully.

I share my story because the opinion I bought into became an unresolved issue in my heart.

The belief may seem insignificant or small. It clogged my heart from receiving God-given desires.

Unresolved issues in your heart begin to come out when you enter the process of discovering the desires in your heart.

What opinion from anyone did you make part of your belief system?

Unresolved issues are weaknesses in the heart that Jesus is aware of as the high priest.

Jesus, as the high priest, knows you.

Jesus understands you and the life changes you experience.

Hebrews 4:15 (NIV) says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin."

Jesus feels your loneliness, rejection, pain, insecurities, disappointments, etc., that comes from people's opinion of you.

Resting in God is going to Jesus as your high priest and giving him weaknesses that don't belong in your heart.

Whatever issues you are facing now or in the future, Jesus is available to help you in your time of need.

Receiving Jesus as your high priest is holding on to your faith by acknowledging him during challenging times.

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
