Every day is an opportunity to be in God's presence.

When Moses was in God's presence, God spoke to Moses as a friend.

Exodus 33:11 (NIV) says, "The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend."

Moses was out of his comfort zone while leading the children of Israel.

He was self-aware that he needed assistance to lead the children of Israel.

Moses knew his leadership assignment was too big to accomplish alone.

He sought God.

What is too big for you to accomplish alone?

It may be a situation that is causing sorrow in your heart.

God desires to help you accomplish it as your friend.

Jesus said in John 15:15 (NKJV), "No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you."

Knowing that God is your friend empowers you to accomplish what is too big for you.

Ask God to help you accomplish what has taken you out of your comfort zone.

You may pray the following prayer:

Lord,

I recognize that Jesus is my friend. Through our friendship, you will show me how to handle what is too big for me. I ask that you give me the wisdom to face what has me out of my comfort zone. Your presence is welcome to comfort and guide me as a friend.

In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Be well.

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
