Only God can satisfy your heart's desires.
Psalm 145:16 (NIV) says, "You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing."
Have you ever made a choice based on your desire and regret the decision?
God only satisfies desires from him.
There are two types of desires:
Desires from God
Desires that are not from God
How do you know which desires are God-given desires?
You discover God-given desires by establishing your heart in God's grace.
One meaning of God's grace is spiritual instruction.
Hebrews 13:9 (NKJV) says, "Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them."
Learning God’s doctrine establishes your heart in God's grace.
The Latin root word for doctrine is to teach.
Jesus taught God’s doctrine.
John 7:6 (KJV) says, “Jesus answered them, and said, ‘My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.”
Jesus’ teachings were from God.
Your heart is established in God’s grace when you learn Jesus’ teachings.
Jesus' teaching helps you discover desires hidden in your heart.
You grow into your God-given potential, lead with courage, fulfill your calling, and live well by Jesus' teachings.
Be well.
Love and Blessings,
