Your mind reaches for what your intentions are.
You notice how your morning routine is natural to you. You start your day with the expectation of completing what you planned.
You set your intentions for the day. You may have accomplished or followed up with tasks the next day.
Overall, you set your mind for a productive day.
One meaning of the mind is intention.
Intention is the fixed direction of the mind to a particular object.
When you set your mind on God, he satisfies your heart with desires.
Psalm 37:4 (NIV) says, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
A delight for God begins in the mind, which is an intentional delight.
The following are six areas of delight for the mind:
1. Knowing God (close friend)
2. Knowing God's truth
3. Knowing who he created you to be
4. Knowing how he created you
5. Knowing why he made you
6. Know his plans for your life
Seeking God in the six areas becomes routine when you intentionally delight in God.
Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) says, "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."
You experience desires from God when you set your intentions on knowing the six areas.
Be well.
Have a good weekend!
Love and Blessings,
Tulani
