There are different ways we all desire freedom.

The root of different ways of freedom is the freedom to be you.

Elizabeth Keckly, a seamstress, desired to be free from slavery.

She bought her freedom for $1,200 after being a slave for thirty years.

Elizabeth Keckly said, “Free, free! What a glorious ring to the word. Free! The bitter heart-struggle was over. Free! The soul could go out to heaven and to God with no chains to clog its flight or pull it down. Free! The earth wore a brighter look, and the very stars seemed to sing with joy. Yes, free! Free by the laws of man and the smile of God.”

After Slavery, Elizabeth Keckly became a dressmaker for First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln, wife of Abraham Lincoln, at the White House.

There is freedom in whom God made you to become.

Jesus paid the price for your freedom to be you!

Galatians 5:1 (NIV) says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Christ has given you the freedom to live Him without limits.

Freedom is in being a new creation in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

You experience freedom in the following:

  • God's presence

  • Creativity

  • Thoughts from God

  • Peace

  • Courage

  • Strength from God

  • God's ways

  • God's instructions

  • Spiritual growth

  • Plus more

When you say, "I am free in Christ."

You open your heart to be free in Christ.

You open your will, perception, imagination, memory, intuition, and reasoning to explore your freedom in Christ.

Daily affirming your freedom in Christ expands your awareness of the freedom of being you.

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
