The Power of Agreement

God made you to be one with him.

1 Corinthians 6:17 (NIV) says, "But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit."

Oneness is agreeing with God in the mind.

Amos 3:3 (NLT) says, "Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?"

There is power in agreement with God.

It is one reason why God will give you an idea.

One meaning of an idea is a model of anything of the mind.

God-given ideas' purposes are to bring order to chaos.

Before God brought order to earth, He saw it in chaos.

God saw in his mind before he spoke into existence everything he created.

You were an idea to God before he made you.

God made you with the idea to co-create with him.

Adam co-created with God when God gave him the idea to name animals.

Genesis 2:19 (NLT) says, "So the LORD God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one."

Adam names the animals because God and Adam had one mind.

There is power in agreement with God.

God needs you to bring forth ideas from Him.

I remember the day I had a positive mind shift. A sermon made me aware of God's need for me.

My mind shifted when the speaker asked the audience questions.

He asked questions like he was throwing baseballs 90 mph at me.

These questions quickened my spirit to know God needed me just as much as I needed God.

He asked the audience, “Are you tired of your daily routine? Are you living with purpose?”

I responded with tears.

I entered the awareness that my dread and frustration were indicators of an empty heart. God needed me to fulfill my calling.

God-given ideas come with your calling.

God needs you to co-create with Him in your calling.

God-given ideas that are part of your calling come to advance you and society.

What do you do when you get an idea from God?

God wants you to prepare, plan, and execute the idea with His mind.

The mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV) says, "for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ."

The mind of Christ puts you in agreement with God.

Phillippians 2:5 (NKJV) says, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,"

There is power in agreement with God.

God-given ideas in agreement with God come with power to advance you and society:

• With a purpose

• With a vision

• With serving people

• With solutions

• With changing cultures
