There is power in knowing who God created you to be.
God said He made you in his image and likeness in Genesis 1:26.
The reason God made you in His image and likeness to do good works.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) says, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Your calling is part of doing good works. By the way, this is a desire of the heart :)
Who are you?
I sincerely ask this question because knowing the truth about who God created you to be gives you the power to fulfill your calling.
Jesus said in Acts 1:8 (NKJV), "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;..."
God is the only source to give you the power to fulfill your calling.
God gives power to your mind as you increase your knowledge of who God created to be.
The Holy Spirit will guide your mind into all the truth of who you are.
John 16:13 (CSB) says, "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his own, but he will speak whatever he hears. He will also declare to you what is to come."
You welcome the Holy Spirit to lead you in the power of who you are in God's image when you ask God, Who am I?
The power of knowing who you are gives you the energy to move pass anything that opposes the truth of who you are.
