The Blessing comes by trusting God.

Being blessed includes situations always working out in your favor without sorrow.

Jeremiah 17:7 (NIV) says, "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him."

It is easier said than done to trust God under pressure.

I made a wrong decision that worked against me by not trusting in God.

I was under pressure to purchase a car about 20 years ago.

I believed God for a Toyota Camry. I went to a specific dealership and found the car I desired. The salesman at the dealership told me they would check my credit and get back to me. I was driving a rented car while car shopping. I was hoping to hear back from the salesman within two days.

I was 27 years old and on a budget. I needed to return the rented car within a week to stay within my budget.

A week went by, and I didn't hear from the salesman. So, I started going to other dealerships.

I went to one dealership that approved me for a car on the spot. I had the rented car for a week and a half. I'm over budget renting this car.

I decided to purchase a car from the dealership that approved me immediately. Again, I'm just trying to stop spending money on a rented car.

I purchased the car on a Friday, which was the second week of having the rental car.

I was restless when signing the documents for the car.

I sensed I needed to wait.

I ignored the signal from God. I felt sorrow after I bought the car.

On Monday, I received a phone call from the Toyota Camry salesman. He told me the car I desired was ready for pickup. The dealership approved me for the car loan.

I paid the price for not trusting God. I had more repairs out of that car than any car I had. All because I didn't trust God.

What situation is causing you discomfort and pressuring you to make a decision?

Trusting in God is having confidence in God. It includes expecting God to work out anything in your best interest.

Jeremiah 17:8 promises blessed results for people who trust God.

Jeremiah 17:8 (NLT) says, "They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit."

Trusting God is a commitment to allow God full access to your heart.

Psalm 62:8 (NIV) says, "Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, or God is our refuge."

You open your mind to God when you trust him.

God give you the strength to remain calm under pressure

God becomes your refuge when you let go of what concerns you.

A refuge is a place of protection.

God will protect you from making the wrong decisions under pressure.

The Holy Spirit will lead you into truth as you trust God.

John 16:13 (NIV) says, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.."

Scriptures in the Bible are God's truth.

One way to trust God is to declare the truth that you trust God and hope in God under pressure.

When you speak, "I am blessed because my trust and hope are in the Lord. "

You declare by faith the position of your heart in good or challenging times.

You agree with God in your mind and heart as you speak the truth from God's word.

You strengthen your heart to trust God when you meditate and declare the truth that God blesses you for trusting Him.

God leads you to make the right decisions.

May God bless you by trusting in him as you make decisions.
