God desires to have a divine influence on your heart. Hebrews 3:7-8 (NIV) says, “So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts…” Whatever God is saying to you now, He is looking for you to settle your heart with grace regarding his will for your life.

God’s will for you is to fulfill his plan in his image and likeness. You discover desires hidden in your heart when your heart is permanent with God’s grace.

Think of an idea that came from God. The one that requires your faith to pursue it. It seems impossible. You may fear it because it takes you out of your comfort zone.

God is waiting for your response. You respond by settling your heart with grace. The Holy Spirit leads you into truth with grace.

In the past, the human doctrine was more important than pursuing God’s will for my life. I would ignore God’s voice. People’s opinion was more valuable.

Hebrews 13:9 (KJV) says, Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

I found my calling as a Life Strategist, Author, and Speaker by receiving God’s doctrine in my heart.

You establish your heart with God’s grace with God’s instructions. The Latin root word for doctrine is to teach. Jesus was able to fulfill God’s will because His instructions came from God.

Psalm 32:8 (TLB) says, “I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.”

God wants to teach you the following:

  • The truth in knowing Him

  • Your identity in Christ

  • How the kingdom of God works

  • How to prosper in your mind, will, and emotions

  • How to rest in Him

  • How to have a spiritual mindset

  • How to grow spiritually

  • How to use your talent

  • How to influence people

You will move forward with God’s will for your life when you receive his instructions in your heart. Ezekiel 3:10 (AMP) says, “Moreover, He said to me, “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and hear with your ears (listen closely).”

God’s understanding of his will for you and your ability to fulfill it is limitless. Psalm 147:5 (KJV) says, “Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” His intellect goes beyond any limitation you may hold in your mind.

God wants your heart to give you knowledge on how to produce your heart’s desires. He gives your heart understanding to accomplish it.

God’s instructions expand in your heart through personal growth. 2 Peter 3:18 (KJV) says, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” You receive clarity of God’s will for your life when you settle your heart with grace.

What is God saying to you today?
