Worship Reveals Your Self-Worth

Every day, you wake your spirit looks for significance. The meaning of significance comes from the word signify. Signify means to express meaning with force. God made you to express the meaning of who He made you to become. God's grace is the force that helps you become. You may seek significance from people, a career, a business, an organization, etc. God made you to receive significance from your spirit. This place of significance is your spiritual nature. Your spiritual nature produces life from God that brings significance to your heart. Your worship of God in spirit and truth releases the life of God to satisfy you with the desires of your heart. One definition of worship is to honor with extravagant love and extreme submission. John 4:24 (NLT) says, “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” Prayer is a form of worship to God. When you pray the Lord's prayer, you worship God in spirit and truth. The following is the Lord's prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJV): 9 "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." Praying the Lord's prayer is one way to submit to God in worship. God reveals the significance of who you are through worship.
