Hi,

I hope all is well with you!

Last week, I was startled by a situation and didn't know what to do.

I prayed. The following was God's response to my prayer:

"Don't focus on what you should do. Focus on who you should be."

I learned when you focus on who God made you to be.

You receive God's instruction on what to do.

Being comes before doing.

Jesus called you to this type of life.

Jesus said in John 15:16 (NIV), "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you."

God chose you before you came to the earth.

Being chosen is an honor from God.

It's a God-given desire.

It's a place of significance in your heart.

It's a calling.

Your calling to become who you are in God's image connects to the following:

  • Spiritual

  • Intellectual

  • Emotions

  • Physical

  • Social

  • Finances

  • Career

  • Environment

There are two parts to being chosen.

The following are two parts to being chosen:

  1. Becoming in God's image. (Romans 8:29)

  2. Fulfilling God's plans for you. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Saying who you are in God's image affirms your calling in Jesus.

When you say every day, "I am chosen for my calling in Jesus."

You establish a path in your heart to live out your calling.

The path is a way of life to live from the core of who you are in Jesus.

Have a good day!

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
