A desire achieved is pleasing to the mind, will, and emotions which is the soul.

Proverbs 13:19 (KJV) says, "The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul:..."

The opposite of desire is dread. Dread causes displeasure of the mind.

What do you dread?

You overcome dread by accomplishing what Jesus called you to do.

In John 15:16 (NIV), Jesus said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit..."

Your calling is a desire of the heart that only God can fulfill.

Psalm 145:16 (NIV) says, "You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing."

One meaning for calling in Webster's Dictionary 1828 edition is a vocation; profession; trade; usual occupation, or employment.

You may not know your calling or believe it's too late to make changes in your life. You may have success in your calling but burnt out.

Your calling is what God uses to fulfill the void in your heart. Your calling is a desire of the heart.

Psalm 37:4 (NIV) says, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

One meaning for delight is to have a high degree of pleasure of God in your mind.

The issue is not your circumstances of wherever you are in life.

Circumstances are roadblocks that cause you to think it's impossible to fulfill your calling.

Your love for God gives you the power to move forward in your calling.

Jesus said in Matthew 22:37 to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul.

The spiritual root of all desires from God is to love God with your mind, heart, and soul.

God's desires for you become your desires when you love God with all of your heart.

Your calling is a matter of the heart, not the circumstances that cause you to think age, time, and the past are roadblocks to fulfill your calling.

Achieving the same desires God has for you is sweet to your soul.

What do you desire?

Enjoy your day with God!

Love and Blessings,

Tulani
