Your heart, the core of who you are, is your greatest asset.

Why?

Your heart is the place where God speaks to you.

Your opportunity to rest your soul (mind, will, & emotions) comes when God speaks to you.

Picture a chair in your mind.

Like a chair, your heart is a seat for your desires, intentions, and mindset.

God-given desires come from your heart.

You discover and live God-given desires when you are resting in God.

Resting in God is opening your heart to God.

God influences your heart when you are resting in Him.

An open heart gives attention to God when He speaks.

What is God saying to you?

Please remember to focus on what God is saying to you.

It's your opportunity to rest to discover and live God-given desires.

The following is a prayer to pray:

God, I desire for my soul to rest to discover and live God-given desires.

I open my heart to you. I ask for your wisdom to know distractions.

Give me the strength to guard my heart against distractions.

I ask for your knowledge to know your voice and discipline to focus on you when you speak. Thank you for the opportunity to rest to discover and live your desires for me. In Jesus Name. Amen.
